A whole LOT has transpired since last may. Watch in the next couple days for updates, they will be a plenty.

My Heart, My Hand,...My Head?! film project

60 days and counting to start of production of "My Heart, My HAnd... My Head?!"
Tagline: "She's dead, frozen, and real pissed off!"

The film is to be a Horror Vengence story of a lady who was fatally wronged: and now she's back.

I have been currently been tweaking and adding to the script. With some luck it will become not the short I had originally envisioned but my 1st feature film.

The schedule So Far:
The script is so far written for the main storyline and am writing the flashback sequences.

The lead actress has been secured. I am thrilled that she has been receptive to this film! I'll let you know the cast when I close in on solidifying the other main roles.

between now and early June I will be building some rigging and stuff for some of the sfx shots.

Finish the script early to mid june.

Final casting and location scouting to the end of june.

a couple weeks of pre-production stressout logistics, equipment and crew aquisition etc.

Start shooting on or around July 15th

here we go!

I chatted today with someone who may be in for wardrobe. This could help in a major way since some of the film is period 1920's...YAY!

A Cloud tank experiment

This was just really a very fun experiment. I will be finding all kinds of ways to upgrade and expand this little experiment.
I've already picked up a real fish tank today to use instead of that plastic hamster box. But use what ya got when you got it and just shoot dammit!!! fix the bugs and shortcomings later.

p.s. I'm not sure why when I embed something into blogger it crops the hell out of it that you can't see the whole thing. I've tried changing the resolution etc but nothing seems to help. So I'm just going to suggest that you click the option in the video to "watch on you tube" so you see the whole thing.

2010 AIFF Quick Freeze film competition "A Good Tip"

Working on an entry to Anchorage International Film Festivals Quick Freeze 2010 Film Competition.
Here's a few Still Photo grabs from the film. The film is due in By Sat the 11th at 3:15 pm.
Wrote the script thurs night, readied the sets, appropriated the cast and crew and shot it Thurs night. Lot's of good footage on this one. After work today I edit for about 20 hrs and BAM, to the fest!

24 hr film competition AIFF 2010

update: FYI, Everlasting Lavender" took 2nd place!!!!


Just to let you know, We entered the 24 hr film competition and got ours submitted with about 20 mins to spare before the deadline. What a great experience! It will be screened on the big screen Dec 6th!
Our entry is called "Everlasting Lavender"
Synopsis: A man is pursued by federal agents as he tries to protect his daughter.

Sears router crafter indi slider

Had a brainstorm today and took that router crafter that's been gathering dust and attached my camera too it. A little cleaning up of the rails and it works smooooth! I am certain I'll be building all kinds of camera "seats" for this 1!
